Welcome to the 2nd Newsletter of EuroVR.
The EuroVR Association – the non-profit European Association for Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality was officially launched in late September 2009, after hard work invested by many people and mainly by the core team that started its predecessor, the INTUITION Network of Excellence in 2004.
EuroVR is the international non-profit Association designed to bring together all those interested in VR/AR Technologies and to pursue the development and further deployment of such technologies. Within this context EuroVR aims to gather Industries, SMEs, Research Institutes and Academics but also individual members with an interest in VR under an umbrella organization, so as to promote research excellence, to provide
support to the community and to stimulate further development of VR/AR technologies in different application areas.
Within this newsletter you may find news and achievements of the EuroVR members and interesting events in the field.
