The EuroVR President’s Open Letter to all the VR & AR Stakeholders:
Dear “Interested Stakeholders”,
The European Association for Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (EuroVR) jointly with NEM (New European Media) platform is shaping a large initiative (Think Virtual) in order to support the future development of AR/VR and its application.
The process is as follow:
- Preparation of the CSA Think Virtual for the call ICT-41. The deadline for this submission is April 25th.
The partners of the CSA are EuroVR (B), Pole Image & Resaux (F) (in representation of NEM) and KTN (UK). The three Associations/Networks will represent a large community that will be involved in the process, with all the stakeholders that will sign the endorsement letter (submission before April 24th).
- The main goal of the CSA is to shape the large initiative (flagship project) and to support the definition of the Research and Innovation topics as well as the sectors that will be addressed.
- During the period, 2018-2020, some pilot projects will be prepared for better shaping and prototyping the NGI initiative. The call ICT-32 [2018-2020] will be the direct continuation of the ICT-41.
- During the FP 9th the large initiative will be presented if the whole process, as we hope, will be successful.
